Sue Wall was born in Cleveland, Ohio on February 18, 1950. Ms. Wall graduated from Garfield Heights High School before going on to earn both Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in Fine Arts from Ohio University. She relocated to New York City to pursue her professional career. Ms. Wall has made quite a name for herself, specializing in animal portraits. She has also published note cards, calendars of cats and Victorian architecture.
Her awards and honors are numerous; they include honors from the Cleveland Museum of Art’s May Show and Gallery One’s Annual Masterworks in Miniature events. She has been included in publications such as Great Women of the 21st Century and Leading Intellectuals of the World - Millennium Edition. She has been featured in The Artists Bluebook-2005 & Who’s Who in American Women, 2003 -2008, along with numerous other publications. One of her most recent awards was winning the Woman Artist Award in the YMCA Woman Artist Exhibition, Butler Institute, Youngstown, Ohio. She has held annual one woman shows beginning in 1974 continuing through 2003.
