“The natural world is the inspiration for my art.  Oil paint is my preferred medium, for the rich jewel like colors and its soft buttery feel.  My style for the large works is best described as soft realism employing complex colors with blended edges and selected loose brush strokes.  My miniature work is painted in minute detail adhering  to the accepted rules of fine art and the 1/6th scale with the overall size of 25 square inches or less.  I use Ivorine as the painting surface for the miniatures as it is translucent and smooth.”
