Beauty is something wonderful and strange that the artist fashions out of chaos of the world. Certainly the beauty of Al’s paintings require no explanation, he has received high praise for his paintings by both critics and peers. Watercolor is his favorite medium and he handles it superbly in a seemingly effortless manner. He has a special ability for capturing the form and essence of a figure, or the non-objective as in an abstract.

Critics have pointed out that he possesses the special gift of making his watercolors become a poetic form in brush strokes. The gossamer quality, combining color and form in an intermingling expression of soft moods, singles him out as an artist of unusual accomplishments. Although he started his career in the field of commercial art and design, he later devoted his full time to fine art. In a reasonably short period of time, Al has established a reputation for outstanding creative ability and in addition, he is a much sought after teacher in his field.

Mr. Narizzano’s works have been exhibited with the American Watercolor Society, Audubon Artists, Allied Artists, Salmagundi Club and many other major shows. He has received numerous national awards and is represented in several important galleries and many public and private collections. Al Narizzano resides in North Carolina.
