Click here to see M. L. Sharma's workBorn in India in 1935, Mohan Lal Sharma studied art with his father, a painter of religious art and portraits of Royal Families of Jodhpur. He furthered his studies with famous artist A.H. Muller for eight years. He completed the inter grade drawing examination of Maharastra Government, Bombay, an art diploma in Fine Art of Rajasthan School of Art at Jaipur and the Examination of Royal Drawing Society, London, England. Sharma has received numerous awards and participated in several exhibitions. He was elected among nine eminent artists of the State as a member of the Executive Committee, serves on the Recognition, Grants and Scholarship committee of Rajasthan Lalit Kala Akademi. He was elected a member of General Council and Kala Mela Committee of Lalit Kala Akademi, New Delhi (National Academy of Art) and is president of Jodhpur Kalakar Parishad. His paintings are in the collections of the Royal Families of Jodhpur, Jaipur and Rajkot. Sharma is listed in “Who’s Who In International Art”. |
