When I walk through a vineyard I get a sense of going back in time. There are other places I feel this way…in farm crop fields, on mountain hiking trails, in the ocean dunes….I guess anywhere where I don’t see modern buildings or machines. The vines were so full and fertile on this warm afternoon. I sometimes like to use earth tone pigments when depicting these subjects. I hope this painting invites you to stroll into and through the vast and beautiful vineyard.
