Every time I see a horse drawn carriage, I feel patriotic. Maybe I am too enamored with the Outlander books and series. But the image transports me back in time. I find the clip clop of hooves relaxing, and the idea of a carriage ride sounds so romantic. I'm sure I would miss the modern conveniences if I truly could teleport. I mean, life without microwaves or cell phones? That's crazy talk. But for a moment, I enjoy soaking up the sights and sounds of nostalgia.
