A Happy Place

A Happy Place is an original oil painting by  Debra Keirce.  The painting measures  20″  x  16″ with the  frame measuring  25 1/2″ x  21 1/2″, frame included.

I visited the Perigord region of France and I relive the wonderful experience every time I paint one of these scenes. As I stood here in Lapopie, there was a chef to my left singing in French and cooking her lunch. The smells wafted on a gentle breeze and the sun was warm on my back. This was my view of a home with herb gardens above that retaining wall. This is definitely one of my happy places.
