I walk dogs for a company here in Northern Virginia named Woofies. I meet some of the sweetest fur kids on the planet. Some breeds are actually called water dogs. I’ve pet sit for Spanish water dogs before. I don’t think golden retrievers are water dogs. They were bred for hunting. But the retrievers I’ve met all LOVE the rain, and LOVE to swim. The Spanish water dogs I’ve walked won’t even go outside if it’s wet out. Now I ask ya. Who’s the REAL water dog?!
