This is my nod to our first responders. I love the holiday colors and the way this hydrant seems to stand guard over the people who may take a rest on the bench behind it.
Those who protect us every day are rarely thought of in times of rest. But we put our lives in their hands when we face a crisis.
My favorite thing about the holiday season is how we are all so nice to complete strangers. Our first responders hold this holiday spirit of kindness in their hearts all year long.
