Sometimes just the color of something placed in just the right lighting & in just the right setting make me want to capture its beauty for no other reason than to acknowledge the beauty that I see.
The fleeting beauty of flowers is a rewarding challenge. I put the impossibly bright, impossibly yellow lilies in a glass on a porch, added some lavender, plus a different kind of lily. I placed them on the roughness of weathered wood. The warm glow of a sunset was the finishing touch…no other story needs to be told.
