The story behind the Artisans Reward is about a visit Peggy made to her brother Jeff Cravens home in Idaho last year. Jeff made the bread and canned jam in the picture. I helped her stage the picture so she had some reference to paint from. She wanted to eat it on the 9 hour trip but saved it just for that purpose. Bread making is a thing around here and it started about 6 people in the family grinding wheat and making excellent whole wheat bread from scratch. I was going to buy the painting but she would find out and I think sales outside the family are very motivating to her.
