Rita Earles realistic style of oil painting can be seen in her large portraits, her tiny miniatures, and every size in between. She captures the likeness and the spirit of the subject in each treasured work of art.
Her formal training came from Henderson State University, Arkadelphia, Arkansas, and the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville, Arkansas where she earned a B.S.E. with a major in art. She is a member of the Portrait Society of America and the Miniature Art Society of Florida.
After living in many large cities she and her husband have settled in Arkadelphia, Arkansas close to family. She is very active in the arts in her community and is a member of the Caddo River Art Guild, the Round About Artist Studio Tour, and the Clark County Arts and Humanities Council.
