This is one of my ongoing series of wildlife portraits in oil. The intention is to remain loose while capturing the essence of an individual - I'm primarily working on animals that I encounter on my walks in the neighborhood, or beyond. I'm planning on using larger brushes and limiting the work to one painting session - not easy for an excessive noodler like me!
