Sitting at a bar for me is like Alice in Wonderland. I don't even drink. But the colors and the reflections and sound of clinking glasses and ice bring back childhood memories. My grandfather owned a bar, and our family would gather there on Sunday mornings. Nowadays I drink sparkling water. Back then I had a big fancy glass of ginger ale. When I sit at a bar after hours, I feel small again.
This piece is framed to 16" x 11" x 4" in a presentation for setting on a shelf or table (or bar.) The panel is attached with velcro, so the painting can easily be removed and framed traditionally. I like different ways of presenting art. On a table or shelf, people can pick up this piece to look closer, and interact with it in new ways.
