In every relationship, you get to a place where you have to talk about promises. My husband and I have this conversation regularly. After 40 years together, we still end up correcting each others' assumptions. Why do I remember being promised we'd take an actual honeymoon one day? He swears we never had that conversation. Why does he assume it's my job as spouse to drive him to the airport at 3 in the morning? I can barely walk and talk at 3 in the morning. The rose garden has more thorns as I age! LOL.
