When we visit our sons, I love to take time to sit and watch their fish tanks. I find myself personifying the fish. I mean, I know they are just fish, and likely only worry about survival. But they start to have personalities after awhile. At least, I let myself think they do. I always imagine this fish whistling his way around the tank, as life is just one long leisurely stroll.
Do fish whistle? Can fish whistle? I know there is no air underwater. But, I wonder if they swish water in and out of their mouths in a way that is soothing, and maybe even audible. I guess I'll never know, but these are the things I think about.
