This painting is one of my favorite miniature pieces I have painted. The inspiration is my family. My husband and I have three children. We try our best to keep them safe, but at some point as they grew into adults, we had to hand that job over to prayer and the angels. It’s a big job, and we can’t do it anymore. They’ve left the comfort of our nest and gotten tangled up in a few of life’s nets. But so far, they each have a glow inside that I think of as their parents’ love and their family connection. We are really proud of all three of them. I think most parents feel the same. At least I hope they do.
