"Yellow and Green is a painting of analogous colors. I wanted to experiment with painting with analogous colors rather than complementary colors. This piece is simple yet impactful. The shadow from the glass bottle and flowers makes a statement in and of itself. The lemon is the star of the show, but the shadow is a strong supporting member of the cast.
This is a cheerful painting which fits with how much fun I had painting it."
