I stayed in an air BnB in Kansas several times, and each time I was drawn to these sculptures of horses they had in the guest rooms. I got to thinking about what it is about horses that grabs my attention each time. I think their calm strength is what I'm drawn to. These are animals with such power and yet they are patient enough to have relationships with humans. It's really amazing when you think of it. I mean, if I was as strong and big as a horse, would I allow a human to boss ME around?
