About The Artist

Artist Suzanne Morris Suzanne Morris grew up in Richmond, VA and lives in Nags Head, NC. She’s predominantly self-taught in Plein Air, or ‘open air’ painting, and paints seascapes, marine, and city scenes. She sought out the best artists and studied with Kevin Macpherson, Scott Christensen, and Charles Sovek. They are known for Plein Air, play of light, landscapes, and much more.

Morris exhibits her award-winning art in shows across the country, and regularly participates in Plein Air paint-outs held as far as Cuba. She hosts workshops from her studio with national painters. Her work is collected corporately and privately in the United States. Her corporate collectors include Burt’s Bees, Verizon Corporate Headquarters, Jefferson Insurance, University of California, and Duke University Hospital.
