Mayday is a piece in my juxtaposed series, where I tell stories about finding yourself or finding animals and objects in unlikely situations. I've come to feel my life is a compilation of these stories.
How many times have you been swimming along feeling like things were going just fine, only to look up and find yourself in a mayday situation? That's how it USUALLY happens for me, when issues arise. I have no clue they are happening, until I am in the bottle on the beach, noticing the signs around me that can only be viewed in retrospect.
It's this way with relationships, health, home and car repairs - The maydays catch us unawares every time.
Let's hope we wash up on a beautiful sunny beach in reach of helping hands when the next mayday happens!
