Peacock's Pride is a miniature mixed media (watercolor and ink) painting by contemporary artist, Lorna Gabel.  The art measures 4 1/2" x 2" and silver tone wood frame is 7" x 4" x 1 1/4" deep. The artist signed and dated this piece along the right side of the feather. 


Partial artist bio: Lorna Gabel has lived in, and visited, the Far East, and her works reflect the beauty and style of Oriental influence. She studied art in Bali and learned the Balinese style of ink and watercolor miniatures. She renders subjects as lovely icons, reflecting their natural graces. Her works are in many private collections, and she has been featured in several exhibitions. Having returned to Montana, Lorna is committed to promoting art in the education of children (through CAOS, the Committee for Art in Our Schools) and supports arts and creativity globally as well as locally.
