These three miniatures are part of a monochromatic watercolor series created for International Women's Day 2026. By utilizing complementary colors (red and blue) and their resulting blend (purple), I sought to visually illustrate the vast spectrum of roles held by contemporary women.
Through these works, I pay tribute to the young women of our time, who differ fundamentally from previous generations. For them, "breaking the glass ceiling" is a daily reality; while balancing family and personal identity, they reach summits once reserved almost exclusively for men. Today, women serve as prime ministers, bank CEOs, and high-ranking military and police officers. They are the living embodiment of the 20th-century cinematic "superhero": warriors, pilots, and combat soldiers. Recent years have proven that in every field, their performance is equal to, and often surpasses, that of their male counterparts. This series is a hymn of praise to their strength.
