I belong to this Ani Art Academies group of great artists who have been doing these alla prima challenges. This piece started as one of those. But, being the indirect painter that I am (that means I paint in layers) I just had to add a few more layers of paint to mine before I called it done. Still, it has a very painterly look to it, due to its humble beginnings!
