North American forests wouldn’t be the same without iconic and intelligent bears thriving in them. Some bear species are more dangerous than others, but all of them are admirable in their own right. Strong and steadfast, the neutral tones of a painted bear are surprisingly good to work with as interior art. Let’s take a look at five paintings of bears we love at Seaside Art Gallery.
One glance at this gorgeous piece instantly gets us captivated. Full of life, wisdom, and fortitude, this mature bear has seen it all. The folds of its face and its majestic fur coat add to the weightiness of the painting, with a gold toned black frame to match. It’s a beautiful moment that tells the viewer what living in the wild truly means.
This little bear may be just a cub, but he’s already picking up good survival skills. He’s keeping a watchful eye on something of interest from the safety of his tree. Is it prey, a predator, or just a bug? Who knows. One thing’s for sure, the painting’s subtle grays and darks make a good contrast with lighter neutrals in an interior space.
If you’re looking for something to pair with warmer tones instead of cooler colors, this painting hits the spot. It shows off a beautiful black bear thriving in its natural habitat. With the suggested time of year as fall, there is no shortage of rich red and golden hues. It’s a great painting to show off in the office or a place in the house where you entertain.
Here we see a huge grizzly bear taking a rather powerful walk in the field, and wow, its size is impressive! Its proud stance is enough to intimidate the toughest human. Lucky for you, you don’t have to meet an un-bear-able end because this grizzly is only a painting. Instead, you’re safe to admire its warm sepia toned fur up close for as long as you like.
Got any snacks? Just like a human teenager, this juvenile bear seems to be on the prowl to satisfy his appetite! While a “teen bear” eats an omnivorous diet like humans do, it’s not a good idea to feed him your pizza poppers. A proper bear diet is nuts, fruits, small mammals, plants, and sometimes the sap from tree bark. At least the youngster is pondering whether the sap from the branch is going to be tasty first before he eats it.
