The United States has some of the best natural parks in the world. Hiker enthusiasts tout there’s nothing quite like grabbing your boots and hitting the trails for some picturesque mountain views. But what if you don’t have a chance to get away? Let the wonder of these landscapes sweep you away and boost that feel-good feeling all over.
If one word could describe this picturesque mountain scene, it would likely be “pure.” Everything about this oil painting seems pure indeed, from the snowy peaks to the greenery to the crystal clear stream, and everywhere in between. It’s the perfect place to get lost for a year. Or maybe forever.
Got your leather boots and saddle ready? We love how this oil painting stirs up a craving for adventure. Stunning red rock sets the dramatic backdrop for this natural sculpture that could be the perfect setting to a Western movie. Giddy up, partner!
Today’s grind demands much from us these days, but this graceful oil painting helps to remind us why it’s important to push the pause button on your life. Spilling out of the covered bridge into a blissful country farm, it’s as if we stepped into a world where smartphones don’t matter. Can we normalize whatever this is?
This miniature oil painting may be tiny, but it definitely captures the majestic feeling of the Rocky Mountains, North America’s longest mountain range. Formidable snowy peaks greet the viewer under a crisp blue sky. Fortunately, you don’t have to lift a foot to admire the view!
This bird’s eye view offers a different kind of beauty that resembles the rustic Appalaichians. Colorful trees drape over the rolling slopes like a fluffy patchwork quilt while a mist blankets over the scene. You can almost hear the distinct echo of bluegrass in this watercolor painting.
Travel through time to a bygone era with this oil painting of a valley in front of a mountainous view. Though used for ceremonial purposes today, Plains Indian tribes commonly lived in temporary homes called teepees that allowed them to follow wild game in North America. Everything from the hunts were used for practical purposes, including the materials to build the teepees.
This blissful oil painting of the Appalachian mountains not only has a gorgeous composition, it’s in one of the most adorable frames you will ever see. Doesn’t it resemble stepping out onto a white wooden balcony? The piece can also be placed in a different frame, but this one is so cute, we couldn’t find a reason why you ever would.
