About The Artist

E. M. Corsa lives in the Outer Banks, NC. She’s passionate about art and nature, and paints wild and domestic animals with vivid watercolors. Corsa keeps sketch journals where daily happenings are recorded for a future painting. These drawings are done on location producing a freshness that is rarely found in a finished piece. Working on site gives Corsa a personal feel for the subject that can’t be experienced by working from a photograph.

“Nothing pleases me more than to see someone study my work and perhaps want to learn more about the subject. It’s my way of inviting the viewer into my world to appreciate what nature offers us every day,” says Corsa. Her award-winning paintings are held in private and corporate collections. Her paintings are illustrations in children’s books, and a line of greeting cards.
