Gail MacArgel studied with private instructors, and taught oil painting workshops. She owned two art galleries. She now devotes her time to participating in miniature and small works shows. She enjoys a wide variety of subjects and describes her style as soft realism.
The artist participates in over 20 miniature and small works shows annually throughout the United States. She’s won many awards, including 2006 Best of Show at the MASF Show which is the largest miniature art show in the world. She also participated in the World Federation of Miniaturists Show at the Smithsonian, and Tasmania Australia. She’s a member of the Miniature Artists of America, Oil Painters of America, the Miniature Art Society of Florida and more.
