Gary Spicer is a Virginia artist known for his pen and ink drawings of historical sights. His paintings chronicle his favorite subjects, and people moving throughout their everyday lives.
Spicer is a successful art educator in the public schools of Virginia and the District of Columbia, and at Clinch Valley University in southwest Virginia. He holds a degree with honors from the Virginia Wesleyan College and a graduate degree from Radford University. His work is exhibited in art shows, and held in private collections, public businesses, hotels, hospitals, and banks.
