Lori Goll always loved to draw and paint, it started at a very young age, she would sit with her great-grandmother at the kitchen table in Kentucky, showing Lori the “proper way” to draw a house, tree or fence. Only after attaining an Electrical Engineering degree from Virginia Tech and working a few years in telecommunications, Lori realized her true love is, and has always been, ART. She now tries to paint the calm, inspiration of her muses…natural vistas, (seascapes/landscapes) birds, animals, waves, rural scenes, be it dark, moody silhouettes or golden skies. Lori considers herself a nature painter, working from photographs as well as life, and she enjoys painting en plein air. Lori works in pastel, watercolor, and oil.
