In this year’s Modern Masters Art Show, Lorraine Dey captures the poetry of light. Her unique style transforms each scene by softening moods, deepening shadows, and bringing colors to life. Each original piece shows her distinct vision and offers an experience that stays with you. She balances radiance with tranquility and curiosity with wonder, while capturing fleeting moments in nature. The Modern Masters collection invites you to pause and take in the details, making you feel as if you could reach out and touch the cool water or endless sky. Original artworks from the Modern Masters collection will be available for purchase during the show, allowing visitors a chance to take home a unique piece by Lorraine Dey.
Lorraine is a member of the American Artists Professional League in New York (AAPL), American Women Artists (AWA), Miniature Art Society Florida (MASF), and the National Oil and Acrylic Painters Society (NOAPS). She is known for captivating coastal scenes that blend representational and abstract realism. Her book illustrations have received honors such as the silver "Mom's Choice Award," the Gelett Burgess Award, and the Independent Publishers Award. When not working in her sunlit New Jersey studio by the shore, Lorraine enjoys painting en plein air and finds inspiration in nature's changing beauty.
