About The Artist

Artist N.W. Lalk N.W. Lalk is a professional wildlife artist, with a background in the advertising industry. As a child, he developed a love for nature and started painting what he saw.

His career began as an artist trainee, progressing to commercial artist and finally to art director, while working for a number of advertising agencies. He's highly skilled in illustration, art direction of photography and his artistic talent has contributed to the making of TV commercials. He uses various techniques; airbrush, watercolor, acrylic and pencil. His unique style enables him to capture the mood, feeling, spirit and rhythm of each animal he paints. Originally from Sri Lanka, Lalk now resides in Canada. He has exhibited in many shows in the USA and Canada.
