Nothing beats the sheer delight of a great summer vacation. Saltwater lapping at your feet, the sounds of a pelican flock’s gentle wings, the vibrant colors in the sky and the shoreline. If only it could last forever! Such moments may be fleeting, but memories last a lifetime, and the good news is that you can help preserve those memories with beautiful artwork in your home.
This art is so much more than tourist mementos collecting dust. Each piece is a high quality original work of art that is suitable for art collectors and approachable to everyone. See their beauty for yourself below!
Wow! Isn’t this pink umbrella on a vibrant beach so much fun? The textures and lines have the look and feel of a paper sculpture but it’s actually made with acrylic paint! Even the artist’s signature is painted on with the textured paper-like style. It creates an appealing sharp contrast to the softer textures of the sand and ocean.
Harkening back to classic impressionism, this dreamy seaside piece is a must-have on a collector’s wall. The soft colors help to create the relaxing atmosphere. The rule of thirds is clearly seen as well as the clever “impression” of waves and sand around the girl’s feet as she wades in the ocean water.
Red sky in the morning, sailors take warning! This painting definitely boasts the “wow!” factor in vibrant summer color. A trio of brown pelicans grace the bright crimson sky as it touches the ocean deep and the Outer Banks dunes below. Their flight is calm and steady as they are focused on reaching their destination ahead.
This is definitely one of those paintings you can hear! Good thing mama bird is ready. This comical slice of life scene is a clever perspective on the sights and sounds of summer. The stuffed grass and straw busting out of the seams in the nest box is a good realistic touch. We love how the wooden frame feels like a bird’s eye view into the family nest.

What a fitting way to end this tour with a dramatic ride into the sunset, or in this case, a ride beside it on the beach with Cape Lookout Lighthouse in the background. The horse’s dark ebony fur coat glistens underneath the twilight’s fiery glow. Three other horses peeking from the shadowy clouds add a further depth of symbolism.
Seaside Art Gallery has plenty more summer art treasures, too. See what’s new right now on the website, or come into the gallery and witness the beautiful experience of original art.

If you've ever turned over a piece of jewelry and noticed a tiny stamp reading 925, you may have wondered what it means. Is it real silver? Is it valuable? And what's the difference between sterling, coin silver, and pure silver?
