The famous writer and playwright Oscar Wilde once said, “If you want to play the lion’s share in life, you must wear fox skin.” A “fox skin” implies a person who lives a spicy life with aptitude, wit, fun, and of course good looks. That’s why these dashing and smart animals deserve all the attention they can get. Foxes are also important animals to Earth’s precious ecosystem. Let’s take a moment to celebrate the foxy life!
Yes, it’s true that foxes can smile! They are quite the expressive and intelligent creatures. Did you know that a fox can make over 40 different vocalizations? They can howl, bark, and even scream. This fox, however, seems to be as content as a comfy couch. The golden sunlight is beautiful against its lush crimson fur as it happily enjoys the moment.
Wild foxes love to play! They especially like to entertain themselves with balls and round objects. Sometimes a fox will snatch a lone golf ball from a golf course to play with. They often frolic with each other as young kits, and occasionally as adults too. They might even play with other animals!

It’s no surprise that foxes are excellent hunters being the clever creatures they are. They will hunt just about anything, including birds, insects, frogs, and small mammals. But foxes are also omnivores like us. They will eat berries, vegetables and plants. Now that you know all of this information, can you guess what this fox is snacking on? We don’t know either. But whatever the delicious treat may be, this fellow seems to think it’s a tasty snack!
Not only are foxes resourceful, they are also resilient. A fox’s lush fur helps regulate temperature and protect it from the bitter winter cold. That’s why this beautiful fox has no trouble traversing the snowfield in confidence. Its red coat is a graceful contrast to the cool icy tones in the snow.
