Whether it’s a frazzled up Monday or a relaxing Saturday, it’s always a good time to gently hold cute playful animals accurately painted in gorgeous miniature art. There’s tons of endearing treasures at Seaside Art Gallery’s International Miniature Art Show, too! Let’s take an early sneak peek at some of the critters in the upcoming Show who have captured our hearts.
Oh my goodness, a nest full of baby birds! We love how this innocent clutch is filled with life and joy. They eagerly anticipate their parents to come with the next meal from the comfort of their nest. The timeless feel of a monochromatic drawing captures the innocence in a lasting metal frame.

Is this pretty kitty gazing at the sunlight out the window, or is the viewer gazing at its cuteness? We like to think it’s both. The details of each hair and whisker on the cat are remarkable for the quick-drying medium. Its vibrant golden eyes communicate its friendly demeanor. Rich brown tones in the floor and the frame depict warmth and comfort in the scene.
You’re going to laugh at the comedic timing in this piece based on a common scene that all dog owners know well. The stark contrasts of light and dark with the intense longing inside the dewy eyes of each pup highlight the drama for even more giggles. This is a must-have gift for the canine lover in your life.
Deep in the quiet thicket of the forest is the miracle of life. A tender lone fawn nestles in its home as it confidently waits for the return of its mother. Normally, this gem of a baby is a rare sight for human eyes, but you can hold this tiny fawn in the palm of your hands and bask in all its cuteness anytime you need a happy boost.
Loaf alert! Behold the power of gazing upon a cute gray kitty neatly folded into a basket. Like any 100% legit feline would do, it has decided that this basket is a great napping spot. Never mind what the basket is originally for, because it is clearly destined for cat naps. Pets from human servants are optional but recommended.
Let your worries melt away as your eyes see even more animal friends at Seaside Art Gallery’s 35th International Miniature Art Show. You can meet new human friends too at the Show’s Awards Reception, which starts May 23rd at 6pm EST. See more information here. Who knows, your favorite piece in the Show might even win an award!
